Job description

This is a varied personal assistant role, a mixture between a classic personal assistant and a researcher. However, even if the subject matter is different, the skills required to execute basic tasks via technology or working together with people, remains the same.

The candidate needs to be a self-starter and creative problem-solver type, with the ability to organize tasks and most importantly follow up and ‘manage’ external parties. The nature of this role, magnified by the fact that it is remote, necessitates strong communication skills and the person be very reliable and accountable.

This individual needs to be naturally curious and wanting to learn new things. They will work directly with the CEO as his personal assistant.

Hours

This is a contractor role and number of hours will likely vary week to week. However, we can agree to pay the contractor a guaranteed minimum number of hours to provide a level of stability, so that the contractor can ensure they have availability as needed.

Responsibilities

· Personal research for the CEO: For example, recommendations on dentists locally, local roofing companies and other such tasks.

· Follow up on research projects and adapt as these develop with more information.

· Making phone calls on behalf of the CEO.

· Manage external vendors like AT&T and Verizon, as well as NAV Consulting (Fund Administrator).

· Research and book travel.

· Schedule appointments.

Qualifications & Experience

· 3+ years of experience in relevant fields, getting things done.

· Strong communication and organization skills.

· Experience in the finance industry is a plus.

· Professional oral and written English.

· Spanish is a plus as CEO lives in South Florida.
