We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Billing Specialist to join our remote team. This role supports the accurate processing of medical claims, ensures compliance with payer requirements, and contributes to the financial health of our operations.

💼 Key Responsibilities

Review and submit medical claims to insurance providers and third-party payers
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through follow-up and appeals
Maintain accurate records of billing activities and patient accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely reimbursements
Stay current with payer guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and industry standards
Respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and insurance companies

✅ Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
1+ years of experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle
Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
