Your role

As a Digital Marketing Expert, you will be responsible for driving qualified traffic, capturing leads, and increasing conversions through strategic digital marketing initiatives. You will also provide some help with non-digital marketing and sales initiatives in the DACH region. You’ll work closely with sales, business development, product and leadership to define and execute the digital marketing roadmap.

Key responsibilities

Demand generation: design and implement digital marketing campaigns to generate MQLs for our SaaS platform (paid search, social ads, display, retargeting)
SEO and content strategy: optimize our website and content to improve search visibility and organic traffic; contribute to and manage blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers
Marketing automation: develop email workflows and lead nurturing sequences using customer relationship management, marketing and sales automation tools
Website management: own and improve the performance and content of our website; being hands-on on the improvement is preferred, using e.g. WordPress or similar
Analytics and reporting: track, analyse, and optimize campaign performance; report on KPIs including CAC, conversion rates, traffic, and engagement
Brand visibility: strengthen our online presence on LinkedIn and relevant industry forums; support partnerships with industry organizations, media, influencers, and events
Product launches: plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases
Sales and marketing materials: support creating and reviewing content both for digital and non-digital

What we are looking for

3 - 6+ years of experience in digital marketing for SaaS or B2B tech companies
Experience in energy or cleantech is a plus
Proven success generating leads and driving revenue through digital channels
Strong understanding of the SaaS sales funnel, buyer personas, and B2B lifecycle marketing
Hands-on experience with paid advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), SEO, and content marketing
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms
Comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and A/B testing frameworks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and in English

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with WordPress or similar
Familiarity with video marketing
Experience with engineering, energy, or technical audiences
Knowledge of the energy solutions ecosystem
Design skills (e.g., Figma)
