Recruiter Role

We are looking for a contract Recruiter to support firsthand during a period of high growth. This role will attract and assess great talent across our community-based openings. These roles are critical to our success, and the Talent function at firsthand is highly valued as a strategic partner.

As a Recruiter (contract) you will:

Own and manage full-cycle recruiting across a high volume of open roles, from intake to offer.
Source, screen, and present qualified candidates who meet or exceed role requirements and cultural expectations.
Meet a high hiring demand that’s coupled with a high bar for quality - this is a high volume recruiting position, with an expectation that you’ll average between 10-15 hires each month
Conduct about 25-35 initial phone screens each week, and move candidates through the full candidate lifecycle
Recruit candidates by direct sourcing, social media, and relevant community networks
Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications, schedule screens and move candidates through the hiring process with the help of the Recruiting Coordinator using Lever ATS
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes

The experience you bring to this role includes:

3-5+ years of recruiting experience, healthcare or social services industries preferred
Experience hiring social workers and peers (individuals with lived mental illness or substance use disorder experience) preferred
Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
Experience in an early-stage or growth company preferred

For full-time employees, our compensation package includes base, equity (or a special incentive program for clinical roles) and performance bonus potential. Vaccination Policy

Employment with firsthand is contingent upon attesting to medical clearance requirements, which include, but may not be limited to: evidence of vaccination for/immunity to COVID-19, Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Chickenpox, Tetanus and Diphtheria. All employees of firsthand are required to receive these vaccinations on a cadence/frequency as advised by the CDC, whereas not otherwise prohibited by state law.
