Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Strategist to lead and refine our technical support processes. This role combines hands-on IT troubleshooting with long-term strategy, focusing on optimizing our systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and improving both internal and client-facing tech experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support and infrastructure needs.
Analyze recurring tech issues and develop solutions to reduce downtime and inefficiencies.
Implement and manage systems that support remote teams, secure communications, and cloud-based tools.
Strategize and document IT policies, workflows, and troubleshooting protocols.
Collaborate with external vendors or internal developers for systems integration.
Provide training or guidance to staff regarding digital tools, platforms, and best practices.
Ensure network and data security measures align with industry standards.
Track system performance metrics and deliver regular technical health reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, or systems management.
Strong understanding of remote work platforms, cloud solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), and network security fundamentals.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to think both tactically and strategically in solving IT challenges.

Preferred Skills

Experience with startup or small business IT operations
Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and SaaS tools
Project management skills or certification is a plus
