About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Tax Manager with 10+ years of expertise in estate, trust, and high-net-worth individual taxation. The ideal candidate will provide strategic tax planning, compliance oversight, and advisory services to clients with complex estate and trust needs. This role will work closely with attorneys, fiduciaries, wealth advisors, and family offices.

This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage trust and estate tax compliance, including Form 1041, 706, 709, and related filings
Oversee preparation and review of individual, fiduciary, and gift tax returns
Advise high-net-worth clients on trust structures, estate planning strategies, wealth transfer, and charitable planning
Conduct complex tax research and deliver guidance on federal and state trust & estate tax laws
Manage probate and estate administration tax matters, including valuations and distributions
Coordinate with estate attorneys, financial planners, and fiduciaries to optimize tax strategy and ensure compliance
Mentor and supervise junior staff; provide technical training and guidance
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation, estate planning trends, and IRS rulings
Assist with IRS examinations and respond to tax notices related to estate and trust matters
Support business development efforts and manage client relationships with a high degree of professionalism
