Key Responsibilities

Edit and proofread a range of documents, including articles, reports, and marketing materials.
Ensure consistency in grammar, punctuation, and style in all written communications.
Review and suggest improvements on drafts and final submissions from writers.
Collaborate closely with writers and editors to address any content issues.
Verify the factual accuracy of content and ensure it aligns with our organizational standards.
Provide feedback to improve writing quality and efficiency in future submissions.
Contribute to maintaining and updating style guides and other editorial resources.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
Proven experience in proofreading or editing, preferably within a similar industry.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for grammar and stylistic accuracy.
Familiarity with standard proofreading symbols and techniques.
Proficient in common word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs).
Experience with content management systems is a plus.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in proofreading or a related role is preferred.
