About the Role

We seek a Senior Backend Developer to help build and scale backend services that power our mental health care platform. You’ll be working on high-impact features, leading architectural decisions, and contributing to a system used by clients and providers nationwide.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Node.js (NestJS), TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and API development (REST/GraphQL)—with a solid grasp of scalability and modern software architecture.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust backend systems and scalable APIs (REST/GraphQL)
Implement and optimize PostgreSQL queries and data models
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver backend solutions
Contribute to architectural discussions focused on performance, scalability, and security
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure when needed

Must-Have:

3+ years of experience with Node.js and NestJS
3–4 years of professional experience with TypeScript
5+ years of hands-on work with PostgreSQL
4+ years in API development (REST and/or GraphQL)
Solid experience in software architecture and designing scalable systems

Nice-to-Have:

Exposure to React or Next.js
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
