The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer who embodies the qualities that make our current team exceptional: technical excellence combined with sharp product intuition. This role goes beyond just writing code – you'll be a key player in shaping our technical strategy and product decisions.

What You’ll Do

Partner with product managers to shape product strategy, focusing on impactful solutions rather than just technical elegance
Lead technical architecture discussions with an emphasis on practical, scalable solutions that align with business goals
Design and implement systems that balance immediate needs with long-term scalability
Make pragmatic decisions about technical debt, knowing when to optimize and when to ship
Drive engineering excellence through mentorship, code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Lead complex technical initiatives from conception to deployment across our full stack
Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements while maintaining focus on business priorities
Design and implement AI-powered features using LLMs to enhance clinical workflows and improve patient care delivery

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in fast-paced startup environments
Proven track record of shipping complex features end-to-end
Strong product intuition and ability to challenge requirements when necessary
Experience making architectural decisions that stood the test of time
Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React preferred) and NodeJS backend development
Strong understanding of database design and optimization (PostgreSQL)
Experience building and shipping LLM-based features in production environments

Technical Skills

Frontend: Advanced React, state management, performance optimization
Backend: NodeJS ecosystem (Remix, Next.js, or similar), API design
Database: PostgreSQL, query optimization, schema design
DevOps: Cloud infrastructure (GCP), CI/CD pipelines
Mobile: Experience with or strong interest in React Native
AI/ML: Experience developing LLM-powered features and integrating AI models into production applications
Experience leveraging LLMs and AI tools to enhance development productivity
