Position Overview:

UniTriTeam is hiring a Virtual HR Generalist to support MMJ's HR functions, with a particular focus on payroll processing and HR operations. This role is remote and offers flexibility for part-time or full-time hours depending on candidate fit.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HR experience, is comfortable running payroll in Gusto, and has strong generalist HR knowledge. Experience with recruitment processes and a desire to grow into a management role is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll accurately and timely using Gusto.

Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and compliance tasks.

Provide support for HR policy implementation and updates.

Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.

Maintain HR records and employee documentation.

Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and escalating when necessary.

Prepare reports and maintain data integrity across HR systems.

Potentially manage and mentor future HR team members based on experience and performance.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience.

Hands-on experience with payroll processing, ideally using Gusto.

Familiarity with basic recruitment processes.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset.

Previous experience managing or mentoring others is a plus.
